Ghost Mantis

Ghost Mantis

These mantis can come in various colors, from black to brown and even green. Their body resembles that of a leaf, helping them camouflage into their environment. Their coloration is based on their environment rather than genetics. Light, humidity, and temperature can all affect the color of your mantis.

Size:

These are smaller species of mantis that grow only about 1-2 inches. Males are smaller than females and have thinner bodies. Males have a much longer and curved crown on their heads, while females have a shorter and straighter crown.

Care:

They are a moderate-humidity mantis that we spray once a day, providing water droplets for them to drink to keep hydrated. They like to be kept around 75-85% humidity. The ideal temperature is about 74-79° but can handle getting to 80°. Generally, fruit flies are offered their whole lives, and you step up the quantities as they become larger. Fully grown, you may even offer meal worms or black soldier fly larvae.
